The Delhi High Court in its order has stated that it continues the suspension of its functioning till 1st of September, 2020 and have adjourned all the matters listed before it giving corresponding subsequent dates. However, the Delhi High Court shall continue to hear Urgent matters via Video Conferencing.
The Delhi High Court vide the other order of the same date has instructed the Subordinate Courts of Delhi to list and hear all matters listed in their respective cause lists via Video Conferencing in continuation with the order passed on 30.07.2020.The High Court has further asked the Subordinate courts to come up with plans with at least one fourth of the benches resuming physical functioning.
It is still unclear as to how the matters shall be taken up post 1st September 2020 before the Delhi High Court and the Subordinate Courts of Delhi, as the cases of COVID-19 are continuously increasing in the national capital and the regular functioning of the Courts remains suspended
